Last night, Nashville showed up for horror.
We packed Sidecar Bar in downtown Nashville with 80 of our favorite people — the cast and crew behind our new slate, Nashville filmmakers, horror creators, and fans — to celebrate the launch of MICRO HORRORS™: original horror told in 1-to-3-minute vertical episodes, made to be watched the way you actually hold your phone.

The slate everyone came out for
The first three titles are live right now:
AUTONOMOUS — Your ride has arrived. There's no driver. It will not unlock the doors. Directed by Kyle Valle and starring Erin Áine (who also produces) and Domenic Jungling — a Big Squid Productions series.
GAME NIGHT: SURVIVE THE SLASHER — A friendly evening of party games turns lethal. Written and directed by Trent Duncan (Venture Court Productions), starring Connor Sherman as Ethan, Erin Taylor as Riley, Aubrey Nicole Plummer as Brooke, Morgan Flanagan as Sam, and Cheyenne Autumn Hess as The Slasher.
SCARY MARY — A modern take on the mirror legend you should never summon.
New Micro Horrors drop weekly. They take less time to watch than reading this post.
The night itself
Red carpet, step-and-repeat, the venue screens looping the slate all night, a themed shot board, and the Game Night cast posing with their own game pieces. The Autonomous crew took their bow beside the one-sheet. Eighty people, two hours, one very good sign for where indie horror is headed.
To everyone who walked our red carpet: you're the reason indie horror has a home. This was the first party — it won't be the last.
